Christabel's inspiring journey with Pestalozzi International

Zambia ยท Alumni

Christabel often says her Pestalozzi journey began the day she walked through the gates for the first time. "I will always remember my first day at Pestalozzi. I had so much joy having my own bed and three meals a day. It gave me such a boost to take on that incredible opportunity to change my life."

That sense of possibility carried her through school and into higher education. Today Christabel holds a degree in agriculture and works as an assistant farm manager in Zambia, where she is learning every part of the operation from soil health to staff management.

Her dream is to run a farm of her own, one that creates jobs, trains other young women, and helps strengthen food security in her community. It is a vision rooted in the Pestalozzi belief that an educated young person becomes a force for change far beyond themselves.

"I will always remember my first day at Pestalozzi. I had so much joy having my own bed and three meals a day."
