Meet Chella! He is one of the 235 students enrolled in our SkillsHub programme in Zambia. SkillsHub is our new vocational programme, combining essential employment skills with positive mindset training to tackle the issue of high youth unemployment and poverty in Zambia.

Chella is studying Electronics (and very passionate about it!). For Chella, mastering this skill isn’t just about fixing appliances – it’s about innovation, inspiration and shaping a brighter future for his country.

His course also includes work experience, mindset training and livelihood coaching, giving him the best chance to reach his potential in life. This is a perfect example of how the Pestalozzi approach gives holistic support to unlock young people's potential and help them thrive beyond the classroom or training room.

Thanks to our donors and dedicated team at Pestalozzi Zambia (among them some alumni from our Young Leaders school programme) more young people now have a second chance to learn, grow, and make a positive difference in their communities.
