Ashelly's journey with Pestalozzi International began with a single, life-changing opportunity. Like many of the young people we support, Ashelly grew up facing significant barriers - economic hardship, limited access to quality schooling, and few role models who had been through higher education.

Through the holistic Pestalozzi approach - "Head, Heart, and Hands" - Ashelly gained not only academic knowledge but the confidence, resilience, and life skills needed to thrive beyond the classroom. Mentors and alumni helped shape Ashelly's aspirations around African youth leadership, and the wider Pestalozzi community provided a sense of belonging that continues to this day.

Today, Ashelly is using that foundation to give back.
